Today we went to Hayle Community school to watch the dress rehearsal and it was amazing! Such talented young people.
On Thursday the 16th class 1 went to Flambards to see Britain in the Blitz. It was a very exciting experience for all the children and very interesting. There was a very exciting letter from Dame Vera Lynn, if you didn't know she opened the Britain in the Blitz. As you walked round, you could hear her song playing in the background. It was so interesting and we hope you go there soon.
Yesterday our high five team played a match against Heamoor and we won 6-1. A very big well done to Skye for scoring 5 goals and Oliver with one goal. Thank you very much Miss Quick and Mrs Williams and to Mrs Jose for taking us to all the matches. The netball team have done extremely well and won 7 matches and drawn 1 match.

This week we made soldiers and dogs out of scrap news paper and book. The finished dogs looked very good along with the soldiers that we made on Wednesday. It was a great success thank you Mrs Tredinnick.
Mrs Richings' and Mrs Tredinnick's class have been having drama lessons with Miss Rule, who is a teacher at Hayle school. The performance will be held next week on Wednesday and Thursday with other local schools. Today they are having a practice run. Hope you all have your tickets! By Emma
Before half term, the school parliament hosted a meeting. The ministers did really well speaking with clear voices and writing their scripts. We had two motions: a Green Goblin Kit car and another quiet area. The quiet area got defeated while the Green Goblin Kit car was rather popular. The Green Goblin Kit car is a Go Kart where the children build it themselves and race it against other schools.
We are learning about WW2. Today we learnt about the Blitz.
450,900 people were killed in the uk.
Blitz is short for Blitzkrieg, which means lightning war.
We were pretending to be pilots in WW2 and
we dropped 'bombs' on the city.
We used paint as bombs. We were blind folded and tried to hit the factories and buildings. It was hard to be a pilot in WW2.
Class 12 have been busy learning about different forms of circuits. We have connected light bulbs, buzzers, motors and switches to make circuits, but we didn't forget the batteries! We are making our own creations using different things. At your home, do not go messing with dangerous electrical items.
