Happy children, achieving together.
Some of our latest news. For further information about what our children have been doing, please find our newsletters or our Facebook page using the quick links in the top right hand corner of the homepage of this website. Thank you for looking!
KS1 had a fantastic time exploring at Tehidy woods to launch their new topic ’Wriggle and Crawl’. The sun was out and the bluebells were absolutely stunning. The children had fun hunting for minibeasts: they found some interesting little creatures waking up from their winter rest. The children then created some awesome habitats for their chosen minibeasts, that they are now writing about in English. They also hunted for bugs, did some observational drawings, tried out tree shaking and most importantly, had loads of fun. Their behaviour was fantastic, commented on by a member of the public.
Thank you to all of the parents and governors who came along to help us.
Our Year 3&4 children had an opportunity to play in a Penwith Schools' football tournament at Mounts Bay. It was the first time that any of them has played for the school team. They all performed so well and we look forward to the league matches that will take place later this term. Well done everyone!
This is a rather stunning transformation of our musical instruments’ storage cupboards, I think you will agree! Not only does it look good, it helps children to understand the musical timeline with composers and performers linked to the music curriculum.
On behalf of the Year 3/4 Staff and Children, we would like to express our thanks for visiting our LKS2 Tremors Celebration yesterday. It was so lovely for the children to show off all their hard work this term, with their family members.
Next term, we are looking forward to our next topic - Burps, Bottoms and Bile! The children are certainly looking forward to this one!
