Family support

Our Child and Family Lead- Brioney Henshall has many years of experience of working with families to offer support. We are aware that there are times in life where we all face different challenges, and may be in need of a little bit of extra support.

This might be to do with the challenges of being a parent, dealing with a bereavement, struggling with your mental health,  having concerns about your child's health and development, or emotional wellbeing. There are many different factors that can have an impact on how we cope with daily life.

Bodriggy Academy also works in close partnership with the Early Help Hub, which is a point of contact to many other support services.

The Family Support Service is one of these that can offer help, through direct parenting support, and various different parenting programmes. 

We have a link family support worker- Mel Berryman who is also based at the Hayle Family Hub, and available to offer advice and support.

Coming soon: SPACE -Support Parents and Children Emotionally- A 6-week parenting programme run from Bodriggy Academy. 

School Nursing Team

Bodriggy Academy works closely with the School Nursing team, which can be accessed through The Early Help Hub. Parents/ carers are able to refer directly going through the Early Help Hub website or school are happy to support you in this. The contact details are:
