TPAT's Advantage Project

Bodriggy Academy is thankful to the Truro and Penwith Academy Trust who are supporting us as part of 'Advantage': a project which aims to use 1:1 devices in class and at home to support learning and overcome any barriers to achievement or aspiration that may exist for any pupil.

Our use of iPads to support learning in class continues to evolve. We are very mindful to limit the amount of screen time children are exposed to and we ensure that devices are only used to enhance the learning experience for our children. The range of uses is quite extraordinary and our innovative teachers are exploring apps and accessibility tools that are capturing the attention of other schools across TPAT. We are now regularly visited by teachers who want to see how we are using them. The progress the staff have made in the use of ICT to support learning has progressed so much in 3 years and we still have so much to learn, but we are also delighted that others now wish to learn from us.
